Is this 2001 C70 conv. a good deal?

It's a silver with blue top 130,000 mile HT automatic. The paint, body and top are very nice, and the leather is better than most I've seen which is usually cracking everywhere. The engine has some lifter noise and it doesn't feel smooth when you rev it but there is a timing belt change sticker at 105K. I can do some engine work and have changed a head gasket in one of these cars. I can get it for $3,000. Is that a good deal considering it won't need a top, won't need paint or bodywork, and it won't need upholstery work.
