My alarm has been tripping almost each time I park and lock the doors with the remote. At first I thought it was just the lights flashing, but the other day hear the alarm sounding too, though it was very faint.
I have a feeling that this will be an expensive repair and honestly don't care much to pay to have it fixed. Can I just disable the alarm? Is this something I can do myself?

dealer can download "remove alarm" software and then you take out the siren from behind RF fender liner forward top area.
Cheaper than siren or level sensor (if euipped with level sensor).
