I've just installed a strut brace on my 96 850. I've seen on some forums where they mention you have to do a front-end alignment. I've seen on other forums where they didn't mention you have to do an alignment.
What's the real deal? Alignment or no alignment? Personally, I don't think it needs it, but I could be wrong...

Never got one on my 850. Haven't had odd tire wear or pulling either.

Optional ..
If you feel it is required then go for it! Installed mine myself and had some front end work done later so alignment was needed but it was not that far out of spec as far as variance from the strut brace.
