S80 R - is there such a thing?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Haha... no.

That's cute, though. I put R badges on ALL my cars! :P

No, the E, J, E, C, and T fell off.

I really shouldn't complain. I know several people that have or have had S80's that have gone 150 K with almost no trouble and no trans issues or ETM issues. My sister has a very early 99 T6 and it has been great and drives very nice except for the clunks and knocks in front suspension that I am going to repair as I now have the car with me for those repairs. The car has never had any of the FE repairs that are so normal for this and many other cars. I was impressed with the MPG being better than my 98 XC70 when driven in similar manner.

Eventually, I want to end up with a S80 T6 parts car. I'd like to see about either swapping the sequential turbo setup or the whole drivetrain to my '75 164E - you know, keep it in the family...
