Darn spring weater! The Alarm System module went out and therefore the sunroof. Thanks to this site, I have learned that much so far. I can't get to the repair shop for them to close it and I can't have the module replaced right now ($400). So question one, how do I crank it closed? I have taken off the light covers (yeah!) but I don't yet see a slot for the screwdriver. Do I need to take the lights themselves off? There are two screws that need to come off before anything else comes down. Should I continue dismantling?
Question two- I read somewhere online that could have the alarm system software removed and that will fix the problem. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Thanks- Amy

Disconnected sirens usually fix the sunroof but give a message on the DIM. It's the siren killing the communication to UEM that puts the sunroof out of commission.
You can permanently fix the siren issue by having "Remove Alarm" downloaded by a dealer.
Of course, you lose the alarm feature.

A friend checked the fuse and it looked fine and good but he wiggled and bent it around some. After reinserting that same fuse the sunroof worked! It paused a few times so it's not 100 percent but the sunroof is currently closed till I have more time to fiddle!
