Vacuum Hose Replacement

Post by aero850T »

Anybody done the complete rubber to silicone vacuum hose replacement? With Stylin' Motors flaking out I need to order my tubing by the foot. I do not know how much to order. The smaller stuff is pretty cheap so I can overestimate that but I need a better idea for the 6mm and 8mm lengths needed.

I bought Spring action hose clamps from Florida Auto Fasteners - http://stores.ebay.com/floridaautofastener

I bought 100 3/8" and 100 1/2". If I remember correctly, I think I could've used a larger size as well, but made do with the 1/2", so you might want to pick up some 5/8" or 3/4". Of course, you don't need 100, but it seemed economical enough to me.
