First of all thanks to all that gave advice....thank you. I went back to the shop this morning armed with information from my posts and they didn't have a chance. they fixed the steering wheel and blamed the different readings from the two previous times on an uneven platform that the car was on....whatever, just glad to have it centered. I did have a rack and pinion leak so ill keep an eye on my power steering fluid. :D

Reason: Merged this with the original topic. It's easier for future readers (and current). No big deal.

I've got a minor leak in mine as well. I'm going to open a thread to find the correct stop-leak.

I'm assuming your 98 S90 uses Dex3 ATF for steering fluid like my 96 850 does.

Did they make the adjustment be setting the toe-in or by removing the steering wheel?

I guess they did by adjusting the toe in. it was all done by a computer type machine that had four gizmos they put on each tire that gave a read out a before and after. they didn't remove the steering wheel. the front left read (in green) 0.15* actual then before 0.14* right front read actual 0.12* and then before ).11* and then in a separate box (in green) it read 0.3 actual 0.1 before. total toe 0.26 actual 0.25 before. no idea what all this means but i hope it helps somehow :) the rear toe was .09 actual .18 before.

That would be the obvious answer, but I'd worry the ATF stop-leaks somehow depend on heat.

This is turning into a hijack which I didn't intend, just a problem I share with the OP.
If we're going to discuss this, let's do it in the right thread.

Sorry for taking so long to answer they did it by setting the toe, thanks.
