Mitsubishi BBK Upgrade

Post by mgene63 »

Ok so I have been searching around for information about the EVO3 BBK upgrade for the 2000 S40 and I have found information that says the VR4 brakes are the same as the EVO3 which is good news since there are no EVO3 parts in this country. What I want to know is does anyone know anyone I can contact about information about this upgrade? Does anyone know if the rears are a direct swap as well?

Any information would be helpful.

Wow, I think when it comes to mods you may have run into a brick wall with this website.

If I may say so the moderators are hard core "keep it OEM" not because they don't like to go fast, but because in the long term less headaches for road use.

Do you use the S40 on a track? If so you may need larger brakes.

There are some very good Zimmerman drilled rotors out there and with Akebono Ceramic pads you get a very good result without having to shoehorn and experiment.
