Where are side airbags located in '98 S40/V40

This problem might seem hilarious - I cannot locate the side airbags in my 98 V40 . I have no idea is there are in the side of the front seats, in the B pillar or somewhere else - or do they exists? I want to put seat covers over the seats and I should make "holes" for the airbags if they would be installed in the seat - except there is no mark and I cannot see any trace...
Can anyone enlighten me, please?
