Bulb Failure Light

Car is a 98 S70 GLT. For months now, I have seen that the bulb failure light has flashed on, usually only for a split second. However, today, I noticed that it has flashed more frequently and has stayed lit up for a few seconds at a time. Is this something to be worried about? Could one of my lights be loose? Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm pretty certain that the headlight switch is the source of the problem. It was recalled a while back.
