2002 V70 XC - AC turns on when car is off Topic is solved

What makes my AC come on after summer driving and the engine is off? It sits in the carport and magically turns on blowing air full blast into the passenger compartment. I turned off the AC even and it still does it. I can get it to stop if I turn the ignition key to the right and then off again.

While at first bit disconcerting , this is a normal condition, actually a luxury feature. If the AC has been in use, about 50min. after you turn the car off, the AC blower will come on. This is to remove any moisture in the AC ducts, to prevent mold growth. Paul
