guys, i have a p0410 on my 1997 960, i tried this mod a32 to a37 and ensured the diode was pointing the correct way, but i have no luck. CEL still comes back in 2 mins. I even tried a32 to b38 and both together.. none of them worked. anyone else here try this on a 960?

A '96 N/A should be Motronic 4.3 so use those instructions. My son has a '96 N/A but it doesn't have SAS. I suppose it all depends on the emission code for the car.

Actually that is (gasp!) incorrect Lee. If a 96 NA has SAS, then it is Motronic 4.4.

See this post https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=38501 and links therein, it indeed comes down to reading the emissions code from the VIN plate.

So to caz2773, yes you definitely want to use the 4.4 instructions over at Volvospeed, A32 to A37. Worked for my car.
