front drivers side wiper threads worn

front drivers side wiper threads worn

my 850 volvo front drivers side wiper threads are worn.not on about the wiper blade arm the threads on the wiper pully what the wiper blade threads on to.can just the thread be replace or hav u got to replade the lot.

The wiper arm is cone shaped and tightening the nut will hold the arm in place. there are no splines in the shaft.

ther are no splines in the wiper blade arm at all.well worn not cone shaped now.but if i get a secound hand one or a new one and tighten up this will work YES.thanx for reply

Just tighten what is there as Jot said there are NO splines
