Hello,
I'm having trouble adjusting the window on my 2002 Volvo C70 Conv.
Does anyone know how to make adjustments to get the window to seat tightly against the weather stripping? Thanks.
Having Trouble Adjusting Window 02 C70 Conv.
The window was removed several times for fixes made to the door handle and regulator.
The door was also removed and I need to tweak it a bit more to get it to line up perfect. But you can see from the pic that there is a good gap at the bottom of the window with it open. I'm trying to get rid of that gap. Any suggestions?

The regulator on that car has a load of adjustments. I do not see any washers between door and the back edge of window regulator frame so you can't remove shim washers to push window out. The next thing is washers on the mount point of regulator where glass fits.
How well does glass fit to to top at back top corner, at the point where top meets windshield frame and by door mirror?
Does the glass have too much pressure on weatherstrip on bottom leading edge of rear glass?
I"m asking because in the picture I'm seeing what may be a problem with the top lip of door where outside weatherstip fits and the gap may be the rubber piece not fitted to door correctly instead of any other issue.
If the door is not flush with body at rear edge those three bolts holding regulator at top back edge are loosened and you twist door and then tighten the three bolts. For example: if the bottom edge sticks out and the top edge is ok, you open door against your leg at bottom to push bottom in and while holding that position tighten the three bolts and recheck fit.
This sucks, I can adjust these windows, doors, and tops but instructing someone else to do it over e-mail exchange is very similar to teaching them to play the piano over e-mail....
