Did you get this resolved? If so, what was the "final answer"?

The new alignment specs loaded into the machines gives toe-out. I disagree with the acceptable band they use and with just getting it in green band instead of setting to to target spec. If toe out is .08 degrees then OK band shouldn't be 0-.18 toe out.
The camber spec is for a little negative camber. A little more toe out and a little more camber above the target spec will cause inside tire wear.

I still haven't done it yet...I've been crazy busy the past few weeks

My car is going in next weekend for new tires and an alignment. I'll ask for a copy of the alignment sheet. it'll be nice to be able to drive in rain without the tires spinning when I'm barely stepping on the gas.

The wear is even across the whole tire so there is nothing wrong with alignment. You wore out the passanger side tire first because the only occupant in the vehicle most of the time is on the driver's side. More weight = more traction so you end up spinning the pass side tire more often than the driver's side. It doesn't take big smokey burn outs but over a few thousand miles The tire with less traction will show increased wear even in normal stop and go driving. There is a price to pay for 200+ torques through the front tires. Whats the wear rating on those tires?

I only use V-rated tires.

The inside of the right one is definitely more worn than the outside - the sun just messed up the picture a bit. Actually now that it's wearing down a little bit more, it's beginning to look more even The left side is wearing evenly.

But the steering wheel does sit ever so slightly off to the left. I think it has been knocked out of alignment slightly; though it drives in a straight line if you let go of it.

New tires on yesterday! I can't believe how much traction I have now - new tires feel awesome

It needed an alignment too - the right side toe was definitely out of whack they said. I went back while they had it up on the lift, and the guy showed me the tie rods and said they looked just fine.

Sigh, between that and moving, now I'm broke for the rest of the month.

I'm still in Blacksburg. I love it here too much to leave anyway. I was looking at the possibility of going to Univ of Michigan for a PhD program this fall, but everything didn't fall into place in time for the application deadline. So maybe next year! Or somewhere closer to home.

So I'm thinking of applying to 6+ schools I've got my eye on, and should really get started on my applications sooner rather than later. Sigh, fall is always the busiest time of year - a shame, too, because it's also the prettiest time of year in my opinion and should be spent outside enjoying things.
