Files can be directly extracted from an ISO with 7-zip, free and open source!

I also noticed that there are DICE devices on ebay. I am guessing they are clones, and yes they were as expensive as three times of what Volvo dealer charges for one reset. I need time to think about what to do with my SRS, whether to let them reset and be extra careful from now on or to get one from ebay and feel free to mess with my car.
Will it require additional subscription once purchased, or will it be sufficient?

No subscription is required for the EBay type clones. I have one and enjoy playing with the options. BUT you will never be able to download Volvo software to the car. And yes it will reset any CEL lights and tell you how to diagnose to fix what's broken.
