Sorry to be a kill joy but you can't check current drain by going across positive and negative terminals, whether connected or disconnected.
You need to disconnect one terminal and complete the circuit with the Ammeter. Please be sure the ammeter is in the right range for current and that the ammeter lead terminals are plugged into the correct holes on the meter for current measurement.
Better method is to remove each fuse one by one and measure the current draw across the terminal of the fuse holder while the fuse is removed.
And it's a one man operation.
The fuse holder which flows the most current will contain the faulty circuit. Look for anything over 80mA with the ignition off.

Yes - complete the positive circuit with the meter in between. When disconnecting it, I always remove the negative cable first, then positive. Connect the meter in between, then replace the negative cable.
Might be two person since the fuses are still up front and the battery in the back of the newer models (I think).

If you leave the battery alone you can complete the circuit across the fuse holder with the meter with the fuse removed. This will give you a reading on each separate circuit.
Making it one man. This is what I tried to describe in the last post; albeit poorly.

you mentioned the sunroof works intermittently, that's the failing electronic component leading you to the parasitic draw.
I bet the alarm siren module has failed, its battery leaked and damaged the circuit board. The sunroof uses the siren electric module to operate.
Replace the siren module and the problem draining the battery will be solved.

I think we have narrowed it down to the alarm system. How do I replace the alarm siren?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Can this siren module be from a used car or does it have to be brand new?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The back-up battery of the siren module leaks an acid compound that ruins the electronic circuit board. These siren modules are good for about 7-8 years.
I would advise to replace it with a brand new one because of the work involved.

Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the siren module or where to buy it?
Thank you!
