My XC90 right rear power window went down today and won't go back up. The driver side and door switches seem to work - when I touch either of the switches, I'd hear the motor cranking for a few seconds then it stops.
I searched thru this forum as well some other Volvo site but no luck in finding relevant solution. Any ideas?
Also, I want to remove the door panel but didn't find any instructions on how to in this forum. Someone has posed the front driver side door panel removal instructions. Please help.

I had a similar problem with my drivers side door window. I took the door panel off after I ordered a manual for my 1998 v70 GLT from fcpgroton.com so when I have to DIY I have a reference. your going to need a torque bit T-20 I think, but I would suggest purchasing a set if your going to DIY in the future. You also might want to purchase some replacement clips that clip the panel to the door for breaking them is almost a guarantee the first time around. You might as well get everything you should need before attempting the fix. When the panel was off I took apart the switch assembly and cleaned all the connecting terminals with some metal cleaner. Be careful not to over clean any of the connections because you don't want excess fluids getting in places you can't wipe it clean. Hope this helps. Remember, the rep's a fcpgroton.com can answer most questions pertaining to parts on your Volvo/ foreign auto.
