Oh, anybody know the degree of difficulty of replacing it....the service advisor at the dealership stated that his techs didn't even want to mess with it on a convertible becasue of the difficulty...something to do with the angle?????

Has anyone any experience with the C70 antenna replacement that can enlighten me on if I should attempt to start tearing the inside of the trunk apart or not. I have ability and most any tool (except special application tools of course)....

I can't believe it's all that hard. Just go for it. You can alway bring the part to the dealer and have them do it if you can't get it done, but an antenna is not like a head gasket repair; there's no special tools required. It's all about the mechical ability of the technician.

Just trying to figure the dealership out.....I guess it was a scare attempt by the service advisor to make sure we gave them the job....
