S70 98 Sunroof Inoperable

sometime ago I purchased off EBAY a used sunroof motor $15 and my
independent mechanic replaced the original motor that no longer
worked and the used one lasted maybe a month.

since then also my mechanic says the tracking for the sunroof
to move across needs replacement also.

any cheap way to fix this? I've just resigned myself to no
operable sunroof for now, maybe forever.
