transmission problems

Post by fordindisguise »

I have a 2000 V70. The transmission jerks and has a hard time shifting after its warm not when its cold. My dad had a bucik that did the same thing and it was the solenoid. So, could my problem be:

1. Need to flush the tranny?
2. Replace the s1/s2?
3. replace the PNP

Any help is appreciated

Since it seems to be dependent on temperature, I'd begin by flushing the fluid. Make sure you use the Volvo ATF for the 5-spd auto or the Mobil 3309 fluid. If that doesn't fix it, I'd go after the solenoids.
