My 2004 xc 90 has the front calipers locked....i just replaced the rotors and pads and calipers. When put in gear car wouldnt move and in slopes it would slow down.
Need help, second set of calipers put on and same thing..
ABS not working properly, will not activate when braking over wet surfaces.

DO the brakes release if you open bleeder screws?
Did you have master cylinder loosened or removed from booster?

Replaced the Calipers at 7yrs? Odd. Did you have a failure or did they look "yucky"?

I'm pretty sure you have an air bubble somewhere in the system. I'd do a complete brake bleed again, making sure there is enough fluid in the reservoir not to run it empty.

if there is air in the ABS pump you'll have to cycle it with VIDA/DICE or similar tool to remove the trapped air. Might mean a trip to the dealer or indy.

Quick guess it is the E-brake shoes. I don't think air in the system would cause anything but soft pedal (air is compressable). Any shop can bleed these systems but not the problem. Can you lock-up the brakes on ANY surface? The E-brake shoes fall apart and get wedged inside the rear rotors.
