Tranny issues on a '90 740 Non-Turbo

Hi,
Maybe you can help me with this one.
My Volvo is only running in first gear. When I am shifting to 2 or D, it's not doing anything, almost like in the neutral position (the noise is a little bit different). The overdrive is not having the air of doing anything but turning on the arrows on the board.

So far, I made a checklist:

- check&change fluid
- check&change tranny filter

- check/change overdrive relay, maybe resolder if it's the case
- check overdrive solenoid
- check wire from overdrive lever to solenoid

Which ones do you think are more likely to be the cause for this problem?

I really hope it's not a bigger transmission problem.

No clues yet. (I am sorta car illiterate)
I hear the click when pushing the od button. Nothing else.
But I can't see why it doesn't react at all at 2 and D positions. Only 1 and reverse.

Has anyone had a similar problem before?
