Need input from folks who like/use VADIS

I'd not worry about uninstalling/installing different versions of your browser. Just go to the IE Help menu and search for "Compatibility Mode". Turn it on and it should take care of any problems between the version of IE and VADIS.

OK guys , worked out how to do that but still no joy , same error codes . My laptop is windows 7 and isn't compatable with IE8 .(Just read somewhere that VADIS won't work with W7/IE9 , only VIDA works) Any more ideas welcomed or confirmation of the previous !!!

weird. I have windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. When I first installed VADIS I had IE9 and was getting the errors you're getting. If I remember right, its pretty easy to uninstall Internet Explorer 9 if you want to give it a shot: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... explorer-9

According to the page: "After you uninstall Internet Explorer 9, the previously installed version of Internet Explorer will be available on your computer. It is not necessary to reinstall." - the previously installed version should be Internet Explorer 8.

I don't know enough about compatibility mode on IE9 to comment on why that doesn't seem to be working for you.

Vida experience

Had a sony dual core laptop 4gb ram, loaded clean install of win 7 pro
Updated nothing, installed VIDA and .net install etc
Did no windows updates at all, turned off auto updates
Sold for cost to a friend

Vida ran great, was about to setup another machine with vida etc, Let me know if anyone wants a turn key setup with older hp laptop

Was able to reset srs and erase all codes on 04 s60 and checked reset 04 c70 codes etc

Just reloaded another laptop for use with another new Vida dice interface.
I am able to reset and diagnose all volvo issues, have s60 c70 right now
Used it on a s80 a friend was going to buy, was able to turn off srs light seller was unable to reset
Decided against car since there were many climate control codes and door warnings.
Friend bought non turbo s60 nice and simple.

Let me know if you need help, need a car read, or want to offer to buy the latest setup I have, it is an I5 hp tablet laptop, touchscreen, win 7 pro and vida installed and working well, i am in nyc area, but heading down to dc later today
