Is it normal when anti skid pic appears on dash?
I have a 2006 Volvo XC90 and was wondering if it is normal to see the "anti skid" picture appear when you might turn quickly while accelerating quickly. Should I be concerned about this? Is it normal? Could it mean something? Thanks.

it is telling you the traction control operated. This is for two reasons, one is that you may be on slick pavement and it is saving your cookies and maybe you should ease up so it is not activated, and the other is that you may get throttle intervention and wonder why the car won't get with it when you accelerate.
Normal, not a fault indication.

If the tracs appears with the ABS light then it's an issue if they stay on togther I believe. Unless they just flicker momentarily I believe. If I'm wrong then somebody please corrct me.

I don't know if the leaves are falling yet in MA, but I know it's been wet there, if you accelerate hard on wet leaves or even just e wet slick ground it can set it off. Mine went off last winter driving out of a slushy parking lot.

Sometimes my ABS activate while lightly braking on sand or dirt in the the road. Same goes for the TRACS sometimes.
