can anyone send me a link on how to pull and read codes from my car... please... it would be greatly appreciated thank you

Since you have a '94, look for the ODB-I box, as opposed to ODB-II. It's a box under the hood just behind the passenger headlight.

Once you have the codes, you'll be able to search for them - odds are pretty good that every one of 'em has a topic somewhere around here!

I have a 94 turbo. Under the coin tray is an OBD II plug. I am able to pull codes using an OBD II scan tool. The code numbers are different than the flash codes that you can pull from the diagnostics port under the hood but they still give me the same info. If you have the OBD II port and a scan tool available, this may be a little easier.

On your '94 turbo and on all '95s you have both OBD-I and OBD-II. The OBD-I codes are actually much more precise for problem solving. The OBD-II is easier to read but not that much and the only tool you need is a finger to push the button and pencil along with a piece of paper to read and write down the OBD-I codes.
