Bright White Headlamp Bulbs

It's more than just aim, although I agree that many drivers are woefully unaware
of where their headlights are pointed. The source point of the lamp and reflector
geometry differences for H7's vs their HID "replacements" can be a problem.
The result can be a light "bomb" that throws that high intensity light way above
the low beam cutoff and into oncoming drivers eyes. Then those drivers end up
in the hoosgow on road rage charges. And somewhere, children grow up without
their parents...So remember -

Get 65w H7. Its an H9 burner in an H7 base.
H7 55w 1450 lumen ECE/SAE
H9 65w 2100 lumen ECE/SAE. Very efficient.

PIAA, Silverstars, blue bulbs etc are all garbage.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I've been burning
the SS H7's for years and they made a major difference.
And they don't pull extra wattage. I'm happy.

I can't tell you how many times I've been blinded by those stupid HID's in the wrong reflectors on cars they shouldn't be in. I have pretty sensitive eyes at night, and that in combination with glasses = super glare.

My Silverstars lasted me about 10 months last time around - they're ALWAYS on, and I like that. I wish these cars had separate running lights like newer cars are beginning to have, but the Silverstar bulbs are definitely better than whatever terrible Phillips bulbs were in there before.

Blue bulbs trick your eye into thinking they are brighter by shifting the color spectrum but they output no additional light. In most cases their total light output in lumen is reduced compared to a conventional halogen because of the blue tint on the glass. If you want more light with a halogen bulb you need to increase the power.

H9 bulbs on the 960.
