I need a manual for this car. Which one and where should I get one. I need one with pictures

Can't get "Blue Bell" to run smooth. Replaced Mass Air Flow after she wouldn't start at all. She runs but it is rough. Can I short the computer plug under the hood to get codes? I don't think I have a OBC on this model. First blog ever.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Haynes manual is a good one for the 240. I have the UK version and have found it very useful over the years.

Do NOT short the computer plug as you will not get codes but you may well get a burnt out unit. The OBD unit was fitted to the 240 from 1989 onwards.

To get you started I have attached a trouble shooting guide for your car. It doesn't have too many pictures but it is a good guide.
