1. Fuse is Fine
2. Took out the fan and motor, bench tested it and it is fine.
3. Its cold outside.
4. Please help!

What else should I be looking for?
It would die then come back on.

Does the climate control wear out easily?

the only thing left is the switch and the wiring. I vote for switch or ground.

Climate Control not working.
Lights up but thats about it.
Bench tested the fan motor and it is fine.
Fuses check fine.
Swamped in another climate control unit and still no function.
Cant adjust the thermostat, no fan.
Seems like it is not getting power?

Suggestions?
Thanks!

Do you know how to do voltage drop testing? Basically measure Battery positive to the next leg in the circuit. I am guessing fuze, There should me no or very low voltage drop (like.1v) then measure to next leg i am guessing switch again no or low voltatge drop. then measure to other side of switch. (all this testing has to be done with the circuit on) You should measure 12v on one side of blower motor and no or very little voltage on the other side. If you measure 12v on the ground side it is telling you that you have an incomplete circuit. Basically you should have low circuit voltage drops everywhere but across the load (blower motor) with circuit on high. If you find a five volt drop across the switch it it telling you that the switch is bad. If you have a 6volt drop from the ground side of the blower motor to the negative side of the battery it is telling you that you have a bad ground. 12v here would mean a bad or broken ground wire connection, etc. A wiring diagram really helps because it shows you where to go next. If you buy one from volvo technical publications they are about $27 and worth twice that! I also highly recommend Tracy Martins book "How to diagnose automobline electrical systems" it is simply the best book I have ever read on this subject and I have read about a dozen. I think it is $16 on amazon. Measuring ohms is of limited use.
