Single Stage or Base/Clear, which is it on my '92 240

This might sound like I silly questions, but I'm looking at buffing my 1992 Volvo 240 and a couple of people asked me if the paint is single stage or base/clear, and I'm not sure. I always assumed its base/clear, but I'm not sure. And now are a quick search, I'm lead to believe it's single stage.

So, if I understand this correctly, Black, BASF (Glasurit), and solvent based.
