You do realize that such a system as Haltech will make the car unusable for street use and that you must have EXTENSIVE knowledge and experience to even begin to set it up. You will lose diagnostic functions, climate control, cruise control, and many other functions important for a street driven car. A much better choice would be to go with a piggyback EMS such as Civinco.

I beg to differ. For a rapid street car, a piggyback system is simply a band-aid. I've been running Megasquirt on my daily driver for over a year now, and it runs great.
-Diagnostic functions? Worlds better than some stupid OBD crap.
-Cruise control? Sure.
I would never run a piggyback on a daily driver, but that's just one man's opinion.
