How to reinitialize window regulator after replacing

Hi:

I need to replace a window regulator on my 2002 S80. I have not been able to install VADIS on my PC as I have a Vista operating system, and was informed here it would not work with Vista, even though I tried to reset the compatability under the .exe file of VADIS to Windows XP before installing it. Anyone with VADIS supply me with the method for this reinitialization of the regulator after replacing it, please?
