When slowing down, ie dropped revs, in my xc90, the steering stiffens yp so you cant turn the wheel!
Is this purely down to the PS pump or could it be another factor?
Ive heard that the steering rack could need replacing also!
If its just the pump, is it easy to fit? and how long should it take?
Any advice would be warmly welcomed

Have you checked everything as far as fluid, belts, pulley, etc.? Is it making any sounds/noises out of the norm? Has any work been done to her recently? Might be bearings for the pulley, as you said it happens when throttling down. More info would be useful to help you with possible issues.stevensteph1128 wrote:When slowing down, ie dropped revs, in my xc90, the steering stiffens yp so you cant turn the wheel!
