Volvo 940 Roof Rack Question

I have a 1994 940 Wagon and one of the things that it doesn't have is a roof rack. I like the classic factory ones that were an option, but that seems like it would be too much work to retrofit. After looking at Thule's and Rack Attack's websites, it seems I will need the 300 gutter foot pack.

My question is...Will most any "rain gutter" footpack work on these cars. I've found an ad on Craigslist of a guy selling a gutter foot pack with load bars and ski racks. After emailing him, he said they were on his dad's 4-Runner. I know this might not be the optimal place to ask, but does anybody have any idea if these would fit before I make a drive to the bank and then to Maryland?

Both Thule and Yakima have good photos on their web sites. Cross and compare those that would fit his 4-runner.
Most gutter mounts may work, but check the photos and ask for pics from the seller.
