Sorry that I somehow missed this. Okay, here's the thing. I'm thinking that one code is setting the other. I'm not sure if the air contol valve would set a throttle position sensor, but I'm thinking the TPS could cause the air control valve to act irratic. Plus I don't hear of the ACV being replaced very often at all, but I do hear of the TPS being replaced fairly often on these board. I'd go for the TPS first and hopefully that will take care of the other code. Good luck and tell us how things go.

I just happened to be looking around through some of the old stuff on this forum and came across your query.

I assume this problem has been resolved by now, however, your confusion wouldn't have occured if you had comprehended the information right in front of you own eyes.

So, I'll let you in on a little secret which may help you in future.

You ask - "What shall I do?"

And here is the simple answer:

READ THE INFORMATION YOU GET ACCURATELY

You blithely mixed oranges with apples, then ask for help and, while others are scratching their heads in confusion, then respond with the insulting "Seriously, this forum is so DEAD".

Just in case you don't realise what I am trying to point out, here it is.

A1 deals with auto transmission fault codes (i.e. 2-2-3 being throttle position too low)

Ozbrick clearly identifies their answer applies to socket A2 which, funnily enough, is the fuel system (i.e. 2-2-3 IAC signal absent or faulty).

So in future, please do not vent you spleen on those who do not understand your misleading post.

This is an excellent forum for getting excellent information - let's keep it that way.
There are only two types of car owners - those who own Volvos and those who wish they did.
