Volvo Dealership on East side of Cincinnati. BEWARE

Post by buddyjim »

While driving my late model Volvo I heard a buzzing noise coming from the engine bay area. I took my car to the Cincinnati Volvo dealship on the east side to town (There are 2 Volvo dealerships in Cincinnati, West Chester & the one I went to on the east side). They said the car has a bad catalytic converter. They wanted $1,800.00 to replace it. I asked why so much & was told labor is $125/hour & the part was $1,300.00. I said forget it.

I took the car to Nordic Motors, a Volvo specific repair shop, on Montgomery Road in Cincinnati & paid less than half & they used Volvo parts.

If you live in Cincinnati avoid the east side Volvo dealership.

another option would be DP Imports on Wooster Pike, they only work on Volvos.

DP Imports is a good place for Volvo repair. They are honest & have been working on Volvo's for many years.
