I bought a 1987, 760 turbo, the radio and dash parts were stolen. I can't find a wiring diagram or know all the parts for the dash. I bought a CR-814 factory radio for a 92 its marked Make VL960. Does anyone know what the wiring diagram should be. The connector on the back of the new radio(960) has a 14 pin connector and the colors are as follows
1- red/white
2-red/grey
3-white
4-grey
5-blank
6-white/yellow
7-2 white/yellow
8-brown/black
9-green/brown
10-black
11-yellow/black
12-red
13-blank
14-blank
The wires on my 760 is as follows:
Neon light 2 whires on one side, blues wire on other
Nine pin connector: 3 sides are flat one has curve guides to 3 spots. the cure side from left to right will be marked as pin 1
1- 2 green/brown
2- orange
3- 2 red, one with connector
4- white/yellow
5- yellow/blue
6- blue
7- white
8- grey
9- black
other wires in same harness but not in a connector are: brown, yellow/brown, black, yellow/black
There is also 2 free wires, one is ant. other is white/yellow. Anyhelp anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated
The consol/dash has only the ashtray and the lighter pockets. the rest is missing. Can anyone HELP me with solving this problem. Thank You

I would say that your radio from the 960 is not complete, you should have one more power stage unit using another connector.
You have made a very good description of the connector and they are used as follows:
refering to pin number in the 14 pin connector
1 DL-
2 DR+
3 DL +
4 DR-
5 speedometer
6 dimmer
7 reostate +
8 reostate -
9 battery +
10 ground
11 + acc
12 power ant
13 not used
14 not used
As you can see, you have no speaker outputs in this unit.
The 760 has the folllowing connector pin functions:
1 const +
2 battery +
3 power ant
4 LF+
5 RF+
6 instr light
7 LF-
8 RF-
9 ground
Then you should have one more connector with following functions:
YellowBrown = LR+
Brown = LR-
YellowBlack = RR+
Black RR-
