For the code you need to talk to your dealer. If the radio is original to your car they can give it to you based on the VIN number but many radios have been swapped out and they will need the serial numbers off of the top of the radio to get the proper code. In my case I just use a Sharpie and write the code on the top of the radio - look for a hand written 4 digit number somewhere on the radio after you pop it out.

You have to contact a dealer. Also, look on the chasy, it may be written on there. Four digits all numbers are 6 or below.

Can you elaborate on this? Like what the part is called etc so I can poke around for it. This allows one to have an MP3-like device connected all the time? Selected by pressing the button for multi cd thing (which I do not have)? I use a very antique RCA Lyra MP3 player connected to one of those cassette things. It works OK, but the CD connector solution sounds cleaner.
