Hey all,
I have a 94 940 wagon with cruise. I had a switch go bad and via the OBD deduced it to be the set switch on the stalk. Went through the process of switching it out with another...and lo and behold it is STILL not working due to what the OBD says is the set switch button. Does anyone have any idea of whether or not this may be tied into another component that I can check to make it right. I find it rather odd that it would be the same situation with two switches. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a million,
Michael

Well I followed the diagnostics from the.brickboard. all of the switch functions returned a correct code except the set button which gave no code...only fast flashing light as if it was waiting for the next test. Acts as if the set button is making no contact...which is exactly why it was replaced. If you run the.other diagnostic by driving it at.speeds above 25 with test lead connected it returns no fault code. Strange...very strange.

Try this diagnostic help. I'm about to do the same thing with my 850.
