2000 S80 Throttle Body

I have a 2000 S80 that had the software update and throttle body replaced back in 2005. The throttle body has malfunctioned again. Since the software has already been updated, if I get a used ETM off of a like S80, will it work? Thanks

Well since no one could answer this question, I did a little more research and found out that yes you can put a used yellow label ETM on if the software is already updated. You can also put a replace a white label EMT with another used white label ETM. You cannot switch back and forth between yellow and white.

I replaced my bad ETM with one off another S80 from a seller on EBay and it works great, in fact I would have to say the car runs even better than it did before. I hope this helps anyone else that is have the same problem.
