turbo gauge not working

I had to change a brake line so I pulled my airbox off to get to it. When put everything back in low and behold the gauge was working. dont know what the problem was or what I did but it works now. thanks everyone for your time, I greatly appreciate it

Just fixed a 97 T5 850
The line is a hard white (now yellowish) line that has a rubber connection under the tube that feeds the outside air to the air filter box. I used a piece of hose I had lying around and its working fine again.
After the junction the line sent to the vacuum tree just past the throttle body.
