1993 850 non-turbo missing under load

Hello, i know this thread is a bit old, but i was wondering if you could describe the "miss" you refer to, i'm having a (maybe) similar issue where my 1993 850 (non-turbo) starts and idles fine, but as soon as i start driving it (at low speeds) engine will sometimes react to the gas pedal and sometimes just sorta "hang" at the idle speed and not accelerate. Like i didn't hit the gas at all. And then it will lurch and coast and lurch and coast.

I was experiencing this in a much milder form and i thought it was the clutch, but the issue will sometimes go away for a few minutes where the car will drive as usual.

Anyhoo, if you're still on the forums and have a thought, it would be much appreciated!

I'm splitting this topic off so as to not resurrect a dead thread.

My bet would be on a bad mass airflow sensor.

Unplug the sensor and take the car for a drive and see if it behaves. It may be a bit down on power.
