S70 Gear Selection problem
S70 Gear Selection problem
My Mom drives a 98 S70 and has had issues getting the car from park into Drive. The only way she can get the car into drive is by the shift override. Any ideas on why this car is doing this, could it be the PNP switch?

Likely a bad ignition switch. Ask her to try to turn the key back just a little after she starts the car to see if that helps.
