850 radio problem

My 850 radio will not display off code nothing but will light up when turned on ive left it on for 3+ hours in the I position with the radio on and off . There is no cd player and even though it doesnt work ive tryed holding n the fuse . Any ideas

Odd problem. Which radio?
Be sure to check both fuses.
7 and 32.

What IS displayed in the radio display screen?

nothing just illuminated in the backround. Ive pulled the radio unplugged pulled battery and nothing. the radio is the cd tape player one with the cd player in the trunk sc-810 i beleive. You have never heard of anything like this

Maybe the radio is bad. When you hook it up you should get something in the display. If you have NO display message you have no where to go. You can drive around for 2+ hours with it on and try the code and see if it works. However, what good would it be if it works but does not display anything???

I know a guy that recently got one from a jy for $5. Just go get another one.
