so I dug in and swapped out the canister and found no clogged lines. the valve under the throttle body was clogged. cleaned it out. found there was a missing gasket between the egr valve and t/b. also cleaned the air valve moved freely.
when i turn the key to the on position the air motor runs. when i move the throttle it continues running. so i think the throttle position sensor may be out. car runs better but still feel like there is a miss.
not sure but i think there is a vacuum leak that ties in to the brakes. need to check the lines in and out of the evap. and gas tank. any other ideas to look for folks? the check engine light still on. will have to stop in and have some one clear it out and turn the service engine ight off as well.

so i read the codes and they come back with different issue. i have noticed that i am leaking oil from front of engine around the pcv canister. i pulled the intake loose and found the bracket that is below the manifold had only one bolt in I did not get the one in on the bottom of the manifold so the dipstick was not set all the way in to its seat. ah that the culprit, so i thought............... well i still have the same issue i am wondering if the seal from the canister to the block could be the cause.
any suggestions
and the dog gone miss feeling is still there
the dealership says it is fuel surging and the cause could be a vacuum leak.
how can i tell if the brake booster is holding vacuum.
