99 Volvo S80 no power

Post by driver1234567890 »

I have a 1999 volvo S80 t6. Whenever I hit the peddle hard or just going up a hill the car has no power and will just stay around 2000 rpm and flacuate a little. I replaced the fuel filter and it worked fine for about 5 miles. Now its back to no power. I also have a o2 sensor code that im fixing this weekend. I'm not sure if that can be related or its something else. Pease help. Thanks.

Check for any vacuum leaks, turbo side, intercooler hoses, bad coil!!! Boost valve may have broken/bad vacuum hoses...

This post is way old and you might not see it but I'm sorry to say, it sounds like the transmission. If it's not keeping it's speed you are likely counting down the days that thing has left. Plus a bad transmission really puts wear on the engine.
