No silicone "vacuum" hose is inferior to the rubber lines when fuel, oils and abrasion are a factor. There is less resistance to oil, heat and abrasion resistance on silicone vacuum hoses. There are 2 types of silicone vacuum hoses available organic peroxide cured the thin walled hose that is found everywhere and what you linked to above and the harder to find platinum cured thick walled silicone. The platinum is more durable and tolerant to conditions but will not hold up as long as you think on turbo cars and is expensive. Turbo "BOOST" silicon hoses are reinforced both on the outside and in its construction internally and are not just silicone hose like vacuum hoses are so don't assume the same benefit when talking vacuum lines. Your best option is to go stock dealer, not the cheap hose at the autoparts store which is about 2bucks a foot. I did an extensive search for turbo vacuum hose and read Saab guys run similar turbos and report 1yr life span on cheap autopart store hose and one guy said dealer sold him hose but ended up being the cheap stuff and not the better quality OE Saab stuff. So apparently that dealer buys bulk hose from an outside supplier not Saab so be carefully there as well when sourcing from the dealer if it not direct from Volvo warehouse. If you have the need to upgrade then you need to get yourself some Viton Fluorelastomer hose you can pump toxic waste through it and it wouldn't bat an eye. The diesel truck guys are using it from anything from fuel to vacuum and it can handle oily conditions including bio-diesels. Will run you 3-6bucks a foot and will be a little tighter to put on due to offering in std not metric. Std hose is 5.5mm id and closest Viton hose size is 3/16 or 4.76mm id. I tried some IPD silicone hose which is 4mm but silicone expands more than rubber and the ipd hose goes on snug no clamp needed at 4mils.

There is a great table ( http://www.elderrubber.com/material.htm ) that summarizes the properties of various types of elastomers including silicone, fluorocarbon (Viton), nitrile (Buna-N) and EPDM rubbers among many others, including how they hold up to heat, ozone, oil, fuel, abrasion resistance, etc. Below the table are more detailed descriptions of the properties and applications of the different types.

I can't speak for ipd hose as it was the hoses the wastegate adjustment tool came from when I ordered it from ipd.

If you have to have silicone then try Fluoro lined hose you need an 80/20 mix composition hose. Again some will try selling you the hose based on the name and skimp on the quality so make sure the 80/20 is the composition of the hose and not some other ratio. This is the same constructions as turbo hose the Fluro silicone stops oil and hydrocarbons from permeating and penetrating the the hose though the pores and degrading the hose, Samco hoses use this construction.

Supplier is unknown for vacuum size within the US I haven't found anybody.
