Headlight Condensation Solution?

Hi there. We just bought our first Volvo about a month ago. Everything seems to be running great with the exception of our drivers side headlight.
When we bought the car, the headlights were pointing straight down and you couldn't see where you were driving at night without the brights on.
My fiance adjusted the lights, and two days later the drivers side headlamp was full of condensation. A week later, the headlight itself has blown out, I'm assuming.
How can we go about getting the condensation out and keeping it out? Any and all information would be immensely appreciated!
