I posted this a few weeks back:
https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 11&t=46807
And after some research (http://goo.gl/cu97Z) it looks like the gear position sensor is bad in the car. If it is not too hard to get to I can replace it myself, but was wondering where it was and if anyone had a manual, or some photos of its placement so I can determine if this is something I can do, or just take it over to my local Volvo shop.
As a side question, are any of you guys in Denver? I am looking for a decent shop in the area. I have looked at Voltek, but was wondering if there are any other shops in the area that are recommended.
Thanks in advance!

I have uploaded the Gearbox control module information from VADIS. It lists where the input speed sensor is located as asked about in your original post. It also 'talks about' the gear position sensor. Unfortunately, both these sensor are located inside the transmission.
