Hello everyone, this is my 1st post. I purchased my first Volvo last week; a 2004 S80 2.5L turbo. So far I like the car.
I found out about rain squeal though. Does anyone know if dealers are fixing that for free? Seems like a design flaw and that Volvo should be liable for the repairs.
Also, is the throttle supposed to have so much give? The only other automatic cars I drive on a regular basis are toyotas and hondas and they have alot less travel in the gas pedal. Not sure if this is normal or if I have an issue with my car. When I am in drive and take my foot off the brake, the car does not really accelerate at all and when I push the gas, there is a bit of travel in the pedal before I get acceleration. Once the pedal is pushed enough it accelerates fine.
Any other advice for a new S80 owner?
Thanks. And sorry if the throttle question has been answered already; I have only gotten through the 1st 10 pages of the S80 forum.
